A lot of TV shows have been created, some worth watching while others not so much. I've been glued to the TV the moment I saw this show on air - Parenthood. Yes, I love all the dramas in it. It thought me something valuable, and it's called a family. There are ups and downs in it that's similar to our daily lives. I know some of my friends love this show as well. I do hope our Malay TV series will turn out at this standard every now and then. Yes, they're a lot of good products lately but we are still below the par of 1 good show. It's not a condemn towards our industry. Just an opinion. Hehe. Anyway, I wanna tell u that I've made amazingly new 'family' this year. I'm moved by how they've welcomed me. Touched by good souls. Alhamdulillah. Couldn't have it without suffering the loss 1st, I kid u not. They've thought me how valuable the relationship really is, the bonding and all. Thank u from the bottom of my heart. This doesn't make my family comes 2nd, I'm sure about that. My family just expands. It's true what they say, when u have love around u, it makes u feel contented. Nothing else matters. All that pain is just a phase. I'm glad I'm over that phase. Now I'm back, stronger than ever. Forever grateful, yours truly. :)

I have been sleeping at his house (Kajang) every weekend since it happened. This week it wasn't in the plan but I did come for his sake. Sorry for coming on such short notice, Aunty Orked. I hope she will feel much better now. It's sad to see her cry whenever she tells stories about him. I do know a lot more of how he has been at home from her point of view. It's not that easy to move on when you have a kid as cheerful n talkative as the late Taufiq Shariff. I am bonding with all the family members. I was hoping he'd be here to witness all this. He would have love all this. It has become 1 of his wishes actually, I wasn't sure what got me so scared with family on-the-other-side. At least, that is who I used to be. I should not take anything for granted now. You must not do that too. Trust me, it's never too late to say you are sorry or get to know them. They are nice people n so caring even though he has left us since last 2 weeks. Thank you so much for your hospitality. May Allah bless your soul n bless your family as well. Amin.

They have helped me a lot in my recovery. So does my family and friends. I thank Allah for the strength I have now. Alhamdulillah

P/S: Please pray for my sister's safety. Currently she is in Indonesia where Merapi chaos is happening. Hope that nothing bad will happen to her. Amin

No words can describe how I feel at the moment. I wish to say a lot more than what I do now but its too painful. Yes, Taufiq my boy has passed away on Oct 16 (last Saturday) at 1.35 am. Yes, it was sudden. Brain tumor among other complications are the reasons why he left. I'll make another entry as a tribute to us later. I'm still dealing with the fact that he's not here anymore. Its hard. We didn't expect it could be so soon :( May he rest in peace n be in a better place now, insyaAllah. I loved him with all my heart. All the love in the world was for him n him only. Good bye honey. Good bye forever. Al-fatihah. Sedekahkan juga ye kawan2

Ramadhan 2010

Pada 27 Ogos 2010, saya dan adik-beradik serta mama berbuka di Sekinchan Ikan Bakar, Setiawangsa. Restoran ni menyediakan buffet, tapi sebab kitorang sampai lambat (dari IJN, jenguk abah) so kami pun try la ikan bakar yang diorang offer. Servis lambat gila, sampai menguap la kitorang tunggu. Dah order punya pasal, tunggu jugak la. Price dia a lil' bit expensive la, if u ask me. By the way, adik saya kat Dungun (Kakchik) pun ada sekali. I heart them!

Pada 29 Ogos 2010, saya mengambil kesempatan yang ada untuk berbuka dengan Taufiq di Cozy Corner, Ampang Park. Disebabkan saya duduk kat Hotel Plaza KL berdekatan dengan restoran tu, so dapatla booking tempat untuk buka puasa. Memang tempat tu selalu fully booked. Bayangkanlah betapa best nya makanan kat situ. Unfortunately, takde gambar saya dengan cik abang huhu. Nampak sangat kami ni bukan jenis camwhore hehe. Terima kasih ye datang jauh-jauh nak buka dengan saya. I heart u!

Pada 31 Ogos 2010, rakan-rakan sepasukan Sekolah Menengah mengadakan Majlis Berbuka Puasa di Carnaval Churrascaria, Damansara. Pertama kali ke situ, boleh dikatakan kebanyakan yang disediakan secara buffet itu sedap dimakan. Ok la tak jemu mengunyah, sambil berborak macam-macam hal dan bergelak sakan. Semua pun dah besar panjang.. 2 orang dah jadi parents pun (nampak tu ada baby yang dipangku tu). First time mengikuti acara ni, tahun lepas tak dapat join. Seronok gila! I heart them!

Pada 2 September 2010, kawan-kawan Merbok pulak ajak berbuka puasa. Oleh kerana saya ada jemputan ahli sepejabat di Hotel Hilton, KL so saya terlewat sampai ke destinasi iaitu kat Delicious, Mid Valley Megamall. Nasib baik tak berapa jauh, dapatla datang jumpa mereka. Rindu gak huhu. Thanks to all of them tunggu saya datang :p I heart them!

Pada 4 September 2010, saya dan Taufiq join aktiviti The WhiteRoom Kuala Lumpur untuk beramah mesra dan berbuka puasa di Rumah Amal Limpahan Kasih, Puchong bersama-sama 9 kereta yang lain. Pada petang tu, kami menjadi mentor pada budak-budak kat situ dan mengajar tentang fotografi. Sikit-sikit je la, nanti confused pulak diorang tu hehe. Lepas tu, dalam pukul 5.45 petang band Joanna & Co menghadiahkan 3 buah lagu sebelum bersurai. Buka dengan air ntah berapa gelas sebab kami semua ~~dahaga~~ penat tahap melampau. Yelah, dok pokpekpokpek je mana tak kering tekak. Sebelum buka, bagi duit raya dulu. Disebabkan takde wakil bagi wanita, maka sayalah yang kena bagi. Cewah jadi macam YB lak tukang bagi angpau hihi. Buka puasa pulak antaranya dengan roti john, meehoon goreng, nasi tomato, kuih-muih, laksa. Best lah! I heart them too!

Wedding Anne Hot FM + Nik

Thanks so much to my partner Taufiq for bringing me to Anne (Hot FM deejay) or her real name Puteri Anndreanna Syigim and Nik Mahathir's wedding. It was amazing. Together with Faizal and Fad, we have captured some of her best moments. It was a great experience for them and myself. They are an amazing couple, not to mention very humble and friendly. The part where there's 'poco-poco' (along with some other dances) and karaoke sessions are one of the many moments I'll keep close to my heart. All participants were among her family members, and I must say they have quite amazing talents. I enjoyed every part of it, the garden theme, the dress, the families (especially the cute boy wearing a vest), and not to forget the fun couple. Alhamdulillah, it all went well in the end. Nice meeting u guys! Have a blissful marriage~

I went with my boyfriend to see my high school friends in a band called Procrastinating Habits or

PH7 performed at Dataran Shah Alam last weekend. It was for Frinjan 12 Efek Rumah Hijau, in conjunction of World's Earth Day.

The last time I went to see their show was at The Summit in 2007. They've performed 3 songs, 1 of them was Sampai Bila-bila which for me is a good song. Unfortunately, we didn't have a picture together as we were busy chatting at a mamak restaurant afterwards. Supposedly we have to wait there for a little while, all of us wanted to watch Liyana Fizi from Estrella (as seen on the poster) performing after another 2 artists' performances. It turned out to be a small catch-up session instead. Maybe it's hard to see everyone at 1 place in 1 time, unless it's a wedding ceremony nowadays have led to this. It's a good night out. A huge thanks to my partner for being there to watch the show.

Lawatan Sambil Belajar Kapal

Hello hello!

Isnin lepas I dapat peluang naik kapal ok, you all jgn jealous ye hehe. Nama kapal tu USS Nimitz CVN 68. Mula mula ada sedikit tak best. Lepas da sampai tu, seronok tak payah cakapla...... walaupun pergi dengan pakcik pakcik dan makcik makcik kat ofis tu bukan dengan rakan rakan, semua perasaan tu hilang bila tengok kapal terbang yang besar besar dan oh-so-cool tu. Lawatan ni pun macam tiba tiba je... takde kena mengena pun dengan kerja. It's still a learning experience, nonetheless.

Lawatan ke Port Klang ni melibatkan 5 bijik kereta, campur dengan unit lain sekali. Perjalanan start pukul 10++ pagi dan berakhir pada pukul 3++ petang. Sampai kat atas di tengah panas terik pulak tu. Hoh panas ok, cair makeup mak~ Mat dan minah saleh atas kapal tu sangat la friendly. Rombongan Cik Kiah yang buat lawatan kat situ ada la dalam 10 group (atau lebih) dalam sehari. Kapal US sape tak nak tengok kan?

Naik kat atas sekali yang paling best kalau nak compare kan semua tempat. The best view. Tapi lenguh tau! Banyak sangat tangga, yela dalam kapal kan. Paham paham la. Adoi~ Sampai hari ni rasa lagi sakit tu auwww...

Anyway, I'm proud to say that I have been there :)

Look at this picture. It shows a strong bond between them. It's the beauty of friendship.

Friends come and go, but REAL friends stick around; through sickness and health, joy and happiness, or struggle and pain. It's rare now in this digital world. You can instantly be a friend to anybody via text message, a simple e-mail, or a quick chat using IM. On the contrary, you can be 'deleted' and replace with someone new. It's hard to believe but it's true. There's a saying 'what goes around, comes around'. It shows that if we want others to be our friends, we have to be their friends first. Treat the person well as to how we want us to be treated. Friends with good qualities are hard to come by. I kid you not. So hold on tight to those of you who are lucky to have some of them (or even 1 person). In the end, true friendship is the one that will save us all.

I came through this not because I hate somebody. Lately I've seen so many things I wish I never did. Backstabbing, arrogant, jealousy, hatred are among them. Either virtually or real, it shouldn't have happened if these people treasure their friendship more. Forget about the past and move on. Yes, it is easily said than done. I did experience a few myself. Lost of a few friends is painful. Yet it's part of growing up and the circle of life. Forgive is easier than to forget. Mistakes or errors sometimes make an appearance in our present living. How to deal with this? I wish I'd know what's the answer.

Balance. That's the 1 thing most of us forget to remember (even myself). Take good care of current good friends more, and be nice to new friends. Try to be involved more in real world than online. Coz you can be a popular 'friend' on the world wide web, but none of that can describe who you are if you don't change yourself in real world. Like it or not, it's the truth that not even any person can erase.

I admire the friendship they had in this movie (as seen above). They've to learn it the hard way; after losing a huge business deal and a family. Life is lonely without friends. It's the best thing God has given us. So to all my dear friends; old and new, here is a message for you :

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIENDS!!

I can't be who I am without you guys. I appreciate everything that we've been through together and pray for many more amazing years, hopefully. LOVE each and everyone of you! I hope I'm one of the best among all your friends.

Ahlan Wasahlan ya rakan-rakan sekalian....

Semalam, me + family pergi makan malam di satu kedai ala2 di Cairo; tempat yang bernama Sahara Tent. Saja nak try tempat baru. Dekorasi tempat tu menarik, dapat pulak dekat main road memang terbaiklah... Tak tau nak order ape, kitorang main terjah je sebab da lapar. Kesimpulannye food dia memang layan lah! Tak rugi mencuba. Price is affordable. Kalau datang in a group, boleh try seat yang khas in sort of a tent, duduk bersila.
Marilah kita hayati makanan yang sedap ni.....

Goodbye for now

For so many years I've known him, the last few years has been the greatest I've had memories of our moments together. A simple guy, fun to hang out with, always with his 'teka-teki' to make fun of us, business minded, and also the-boy-next-door to the ladies. We shared the same school together, tuition class and not to forget we're neighbors.
We didn't see each other often, but when we do that day will be one of the best for each one of us to live with before the next 'meeting' is held. It was 4 or 5 years ago when we started to become close. Today, at 10.45 am Malaysian time, he fly to London for his studies. It's nothing if compared to other people, it's just for a couple of years. A lot can change in these 2 years. Mostly will agree to this, right? I hope our friendship remains the same, that's 1 thing none of us wants it to change. He even joked and said he will become fairer and have a body transformation (READ : 6 packs) when he comes back home (now will be the right time to roll your eyes, yeah). HAHA VERY FUNNY.

To Zack,

I wish U all the best in your future (and studies). Take this as a challenge to yourself and make the most of it. Try to have fun while you're there because opportunity like this don't come knocking your door often. Take good care of yourself (jangan nak pulun dapat 6 packs tu sangat haha) and don't forget to check in on us now and then for updates ok (nanti kata tersisih macam Apai* pulak). Good luck!

We did a small farewell for him earlier this week and joined his kenduri yesterday (together with some friends). Hopefully he'll cherish that... *crossing fingers*

Summer in Malaysia

Don't believe everything you read. There's no summer in Malaysia, it only feels hot and breezy (possibly the same as the summer) in Port Dickson last weekend. Makes it a perfect day for some fresh air. I don't know about you guys, but I do need this 'escape' from time to time. Just coping up with work and life makes your head congested, ya know? Although I don't recommend to go there at noon like we did, it's a quick-and-not-to-far-away place to go. Seriously. You should try it, stay for 1 night would be better (Dah macam holiday package promoter la pulak). There are 2 things I love (and look forward to) here : the beach and sipping the coconut drink while looking at the great view. Simple things that work wonders.

The foods were not that bad, tasty but served in a small portion. Unfortunately, I had a serious pain later that day, could be from there. *Saya baca doa makan ye*...

Keropok warna-warni tu paling sedap!

So, di sini saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih yang tak terhingga kepada Encik Bf kerana sudi melayan kerenah saya yang pelik ni (tiba-tiba je nak pegi pantai, buang tebiat orang tua-tua kata). Semoga sudi bawak Cik Gf jalan-jalan lagi ye.. hehe :D

Legend of the awesomeness

Weekend is sit-around-and-just-be-at-home day. At least today it is. The whole family just watching TV and dine together. Mind you, the school holidays has its own benefits. Now we can fight or laugh with each other back to back within this short period of time. Tonight is no different. All four of us (minus Adek coz she's in Yogyakarta) has been waiting anxiously to watch this animated film on HBO named Kungfu Panda. We actually annoyed our mom and make her change the channel. Let me tell you this, this is not our FIRST time watching (probably more than 10 times already for all of us) but we still tune in to see the cartoon. We laugh our hearts out to the end of it. Not only can we throw the exact lines, we can also recreate the scene without fail. It is one awesome movie. It is fun and all, but I do know there's a morale behind the story. I thought to myself, why not I share it here. It might be lame coming from a cartoon character but I take my chances;

Hari Jalan-Jalan

Yesterday, I went to another wedding; together with my Taufiq, and the newly weds Faizal and Nida. They were hired as OP for the day, so we tag along to accompany them. I actually knew the bride/groom from my partner last year and this would be the 2nd time I met them - Hanafedora and Fairuz.

Although its only the 2nd time meeting them, I can say there's no such thing as awkwardness probably bcoz of their warmth, bubbly and friendly gesture. Hana is a cute and spontaneous girl while Fairuz is more of a quiet type I guess. Nevertheless, they looked so fab being the bride and groom despite the fact that they have been married for 9 months (according to Hana's mother). Congratulations once again Hana and Fairuz~!! May u have a blissful and happy marriage 'til the end of time. Its been great knowing the two of u :)

After the ceremony, I joined some Merbok friends for a girl-bonding session in Bangi: there's Tasha and her partner Damian, Yash, Roy and her hubby. Last time I met Roy was actually after my BTN short course in Merbok campus which was 4 years ago. She was one of my group members at that time. Now she's ahead of us with 7 months pregnancy. How fast time flies, really.. We try to relive those moments we had back in our study years. FYI, they were all studying in a different course than mine. The fact that they wanted to invite me to tag along and share their stories makes me feel so blessed (coz we were not in the same group of friends before; not that close even though we knew each other). Di sini, saya ingin mengucapkan Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri kepada semua rakan rakan yang jauh mahupun dekat.. dan Maaf Zahir Batin. Maaf seribu kali maaf kerana tiada info terkini lebih sebulan. Bulan puasa berlalu begitu pantas, sedar tak sedar sampai pula ke hari lebaran. Tak sempat nak bercerita pun...

Hari Raya as usual semua akan sibuk melakukan persiapan, dari memasak juadah aidilfitri ke perjalanan pulang ke kampung. Tak lupe juga pada duit raya yang wajib 'dituntut' pabila raya menjelang. Kesesakan di jalan raya menjadi satu kebiasaan di waktu begini. Tetapi, tak dinafikan pulang ke kampung adalah intipati yang ditunggu tunggu setiap kali lebaran. Saya sangat bersyukur dan gembira kerana pada tahun ini aktiviti yang sama dapat dijalankan dengan jayanya.

I don't know why it is so hard to find a true person with a sincere heart. Seriously. Tell me where can I find it please.. I need to know. It is even harder when I have to deal with these people almost everyday. Maybe they thought I was dumb?? Maybe they love to do it, it's one of their habits? I donno. But still, I am a human with feelings. Same as others. I hate to admit it, but I tend to trust someone whose being 'nice' to me. Well, don't you?? No, I wont do it again. These hidden agendas come out pretty easy once you get to know their behavior. No surprise at all once the fake thingy becomes visible. Friend or not-so-much feels the same.

Me and boyfriend went to Gold Coast while we're still in Sepang (after the wedding). It was quite a view... saje nak test pantai kat sini hehe
The next time we go there, maybe we can do barbecue somewhere in that area. It surely feels like I'm on vacation coz of the people showed up there on weekends. Kids running and playing kites, the wind blows, some were even swimming here and there... Come and take a look for yourself, just play around and be a kid again ;)

Went to Dungun and Kuantan as said earlier. Met my sis Kachang. The beach was just as great as the last time I was there. Too bad its not for swimming or else we would be a bunch of kids to jump around and swim there. Then, to Kuantan for my cousin's engagement. It settled quick and simple. There's a BBQ later that nite for celebrating my dad's promotion. On Sunday, off we go back to KL.
It can be said as short and sweet for us especially when we get together with everyone, usually only on Hari Raya celebrations.

I am officially 25 years old.
I never imagine I've come to this so far.. and so fast.
I've come to accept a few life changing moments throughout the journey. No regrets, period.
As usual, the day becomes "special" : the phone starts ringing, the text keeps coming and my Facebook have wishes printed all over it.
I feel so blessed coz I've got the chance to live this long n have a good life. I plan to make it better, InsyaAllah...
No, I do not fear of getting older. Age is just a number. I hope I've become wiser after all these years. Still, there are dreams to achieve and goals to pursue. I wish to finish what I've done so far, or yet to start. Also a happy life, both in love and career.

From today til Sunday, I'm off to meet my sister in Dungun (or "Dan-jen" as what mom calls it) and go balik kampung to Pahang afterwards for my cousin's engagement. Unplanned plan

Usually most people have make plans for their weekends, including myself. Working can sometimes drained our energy. Even doing other things than working can make us feel the same way, tak gitu? So instead of doing this routine(of life), this week I've done the opposite. Somehow or rather it completes my need to do out of the norm (oh what the heck rite?).

I went to meet my ex-housemates, slept there with them and plus on weekends I met my long-time-no-see friends : my school friend+her friend and my university friend. I think a part of these sudden meetings reminded me of how fun it was before (young and free). We actually talked for hours and wondering inside a huge mall doing nothing (yes, we don't plan it this way). The best part is we have tons of fun, not to mention laughing like there's no one's looking. Macam jadi budak Darjah 1 balik!

All in all, I'm glad I did it. I'm even happier they did it with me. Most importantly, I'm thankful to have him by my side during my ups and downs. Yes, I do agree that we need our 'wake up call' in between our so-called busy life and be who we used to be in order to become who we are now.

We went to watch movies at nite, ohh and I really mean it!
We have picked up 2 movies; Angels and Demons and Terminator Salvation (half-half).
It all started at 10.35pm. Boy, I was so sleepy! I went for Terminator with the kiddos. Although I wished it ended ASAP, I couldn't resist watching him heroically killing every robots at Skynet. So smooth indeed~
(I would give 4 out of 5)

Yes, we arrived home very late, like 1.00am on a Thursday nite. Yeah, talk about "midnite hangover" on the next day......

We went to Pelita nearby KLCC for a quick-update session yesterday. It was more of meeting new friends for me, the update was for him. I guess its been awhile since they last saw each other, they did talking non-stop for hours. Me and the other 2 gurls, Kay-In n Diba were like pause to silence in between n juz stare at them chatting like there's no tomorrow. Its fun though seeing guys talking, its different n interesting altogether. After 3 hours it ended well. All are fun people whose talented in their own ways. Thanks hun~!

I've been away for the weekend.
For the 1st time in months, I sleep at someone else's house.
And I did at Nurul's house. The poor girl needs some company ;)

We cooked Laksa Sarawak together.
We ate those 3 times just to finish it.

Watched a whole lot of movies on tv.
Laughed our hearts out to many things.

Done some shopping on Sunday.
Shop til we drop~

Slept there until Monday nite.
Extend it on the very last minute for some reasons.

Celebrated Lynn's birthday (picture above) at The Ship in Damansara yesterday.
Lost our way while finding the place. Not familiar with the route.
All four of us colleagues (or used to be) were - me, Nurul, Lynn & Zariah.

The dinner was memorable. Honestly, I miss all of the above. It feels like its been years not having a meeting. Everyone I think must feel the same. It has to be an extra effort to keep up with friends nowadays. Its definitely a much lonely world without each of them around.
We should hang out again rite?

The food was a must-try item. It makes a fine steak as I heard. After I've had it, I totally agree. Mostly western on the menu. Over all I must say its delicious. Try it youself!

We had:
- 2 steaks
- 1 black pepper chicken
-1 black pepper beef
- escargot (as appetizer)

First time I tried escargot. So did Nurul (picture below).
It tasted different, not so much to my liking btw.

Outdoor with Baby Fatin

I joined an outdoor portraiture session with Mr. Taufiq and Mr.Faizal in Wetland Park, Putrajaya.

The models for the day were baby Fatin and her parents; Kak Junn and Bro Faisal.
It started around 10 am until noon. At 1st Fatin wasn't reacting with the camera for the unfamiliar faces like us but after we bribed the girl with some toys, she responded well. In fact, she was so adorable smiling to us! They prefer a WHITE theme for this day... and it looked amazing - soft and simple.

Although there were many mosquitoes slowing us down and attacked us, we managed to capture every possible moments available (DAMN you mosquitoes!). Yeah, kudos to us! Fatin is one tough baby to survive this. So did her parents.
It was a sunny day. I felt dehydrated the moment we started shooting. Thankfully there's a vending machine nearby (which I haven't use since I finished studying). Only God knows how hot it really was~!

Since we haven't done anything like these this past month, it felt so great when its done...
THANX a bunch to Kak Junn, Bro Faisal and mostly to Fatin for being such a princess.
I had so much fun! - especially blowing the bubbles (plz refer below). Yay~!

Love is a pleasantly feeling. Love will make happy people doing wonderful things. Love among the family will make them closer and appreciate more of each other. Even though sometimes I don’t agree to everything, I do my best to support them regardless of what they say or how old fashion they do things.

Mostly, love with someone I’ll spend the rest of my life is unconditional. But this kind of love needs chemistry before the stranger becomes your partner. I do believe that. For me, what I’ve been through is far worse from now. But there’s no regret though. It makes me who I am today. It is true, experience makes me wiser and stronger.

Is love blind?

Or makes u want for more?

From what I have learnt, it’s a lonely world without love. You need family and friends to keep you going when things get tough. Most importantly, u need your better half to be there and be your strength - I honestly believe that.

Today is Kakchik's (my sister) birthday. I thought of buying something appropriate and simple. Instead of a whole cake, I bought this:

1 slice of blueberry cheese cake
1 blueberry cheese tart
1 chocolate cheese tart

Although its juz as cheap as not buying anything, but it looks like she's enjoying it.. or at least some of it ;)
Her favorite would be the blueberry cheese tart (coz its not in the picca anymore, its in her stomach)

Me, my friends and my sis went to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. at Sunway Pyramid. It was sort of my treat for her after taken the result (refer entry below). It was also because my two girlfriends wanted to try new food considering its only as new as 2-days opened. Its one of the places that has an outside entrance.

There's something interesting about the ordering concept, a flip of the plate will do the trick (Seriously I am not kidding, juz a few seconds the waiter will be by ur side for sure).

Over all, I would say:

Food/drinks - okay, slightly delicious and full of shrimps (as the name of the restaurant).
Waiter/ress - Super friendly, prepare for some unexpected quizzes about the origins of the place.
Decor - Bold and beautiful

Rice, shrimps with tremendously lots of cheese

Me and my parents went to Malacca for the SPM result; my sister's certainly not mine. We arrived around 11 am but had to wait another half hour for it to be released. Her hands were cold as I recalled, keep on calming her in the car.

The moment it finally became her posession, she took it n took a peek-a-boo under the table. After scrutinizing every subject, she showed us. She got 4A's. All ends well I supposed. Now all she's got to do is deciding which course to take, in less than 10 days. I hope she's gonna do well in her studies.

Another outing, not so good weather, nonetheless its fun time for us.
We chose Taman Botani yesterday. Met Faizal n Nida again with their "big news".
It was after watching Geng Upin&Ipin Movie; which I tell u people, go n watch it yourself! Tremendously fun and cute characters. A bit fantasy though, but its a free pass for a cartoon rite?
Ok, back to the story. Ohh what a beautiful day. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll in the park at Alamanda. It started raining back again halfway through.

Anyway, although we made juz a short trip but there's a few pictures worth showing...

Yesterday was rather emotional; plus a drained throat from exhaustion.
Almost 40 degree Celcius didn't give much help either.
But the date is written : registration is today.

A quick survey of the area spells "Boley tahan jugak environment nye"
Be there as early as 9 am and settled by 3 pm.
Jamil Rais or JR as the teacher say it was given as the dorm's name.
Orange decorations entirely. Upstairs, the 3rd floor (the last one).
I bet he could be taller than me by mid year... or less.

Breakfast was filling and tasty, a fresh roti canai for 80 cents; juz nice for students.
I'm sure dining food is better. I remember last time to actually follow the rules and go eat for every meals given. *Looking forward pon nak pergi dining asrama....

Getting along with the unfamiliar was never easy, nor would it be an excuse not to.
But I assure u he's got no problem with that. He forgot about us shortly after (proven).
Anyway, I know he's going to be juz fine. He will manage. InsyaAllah.

Today, mom starts worrying about simple little things... and sis starts having teary eyes...
As for me, I'm used to having him around. All the looks-like-shuffle dances he made, skateboard he played, Myspace-ing and Travian game he used to bore himself to makes a huge gap within my time. Not to mention numerous school activities which I'm sure mom will miss it more.

Hari ini kami berempat pergi berjalan-jalan ke FRIM Kepong (Forest Research Institute Malaysia).
Kami pergi ke sana dengan harapan untuk mengambil gambar2 yg lebih menarik.
Kawasan yg luas menarik pandangan, sesuai untuk melakukan aktiviti riadah.

Mendaki bukit menuju puncak merupakan satu cabaran buat kami, lebih hebat dari pengalaman yg lalu.
Akan tetapi hati berasa puas setelah memanjat titian gantung yg hanya diperbuat dari tangga walaupun berasa gayat sedikit sekali sekala.
Tak lupa juga pada air terjun yg sejuk dan segar.

Aktiviti diteruskan setelah makan tengah hari di Kampungku Coffee iaitu menjengah dan mengusik adek saya di kantor.
Setelah puas menghilangkan dahaga kami pun pulang ke kediaman masing2.

Kesakitan maseh terasa, namun tetap gembira kerna kejadian ini berlaku lagi.

Last night, my parents returned from a glamorous dinner with these bouquets.Oh, and a healthy-thingy hamper (although normally junk foods are in it).
For me, its a thing about flowers that perks me up - the colour, the smell, the texture...
Soon it will become pretty much dead anyway, but until that happens lets enjoy this living thing while it last. Flowers anyone???

Our 3rd photo hunting session this time was at Sungai Gabai. It was not in the plan at the first place, but I'm glad we changed it. I never would have thought that photography can be this extreme. Boy, I was so WRONG heheh ;)

The usual gang were involved : Taufiq, Faizal, Farah n Syafiq (replacing Nida's place)

It started early morning and the first stop would be in Kajang. Using an advanced technology of GPS by Faizal (using just a pen n a piece of paper), we drove off to the place safely n reached there about half an hour later. After struggling getting up there, we chose a spot a lil' further than the crowd (more privacy I supposed) n settle down. It didn't take long for us to finish fried meehoon made by Farah (which was delecious btw) coz of the forced exercise earlier on.

After energized ourselves, we started doing the job : take great photos as much as possible (it was actually them who did that not me HAHA)

At noon, Farah n Syafiq left, to spare him some time to go back to Kertih. We stayed for a while, but then took off minutes later. We've decided to crash the birthday party that Nida's attending. We arrived at Semenyih at about 3 pm (juz nice for the party to start). After a lil' tahlil going on, it was eating time! The boys were more excited as I recall HEHE. There's chicken rice, curry mee, meat stew (which was fabulous!), chicken satay, cocktail n strawberry cheese tart (yummeh~). Makan free memang sedap! The girl; Damia who turned 5 years old cut the cake afterwards which pretty much wraps up the evening. Happy Birthday sweet girl~!
Faizal kindly drove both of us home. Thanx guyz! It was another fun getaway-photography. I came back with a huge smiley on my face hoyeh~

Trip to Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. It was great. Started at 8 am and ends just after i reached home, about 7 pm. A bit dissapointed though, coz of the weather. But it turned out great.

Itinerary:

8 am - 2 pm : Explore Bukit Tinggi

2 pm - 4 pm : Find a place to pray/eat/change

Traffic jam for a while. Stopped at Petronas at last.

4 pm - 5.30 pm : Lunch at Pak Li, Shah Alam. Met Nicol n Kamarul there

5.30 pm - 6.30 pm : Relax at Taman Tasik Shah Alam before sending me home

I was freaking out about my recent Open House at my house on Sunday. Really, I'm not kidding!

But it turned out great, successful n satisfying for all of us. Boy, I am glad n happy~

Started at 11 am (believe me they really came on time!) and ended at 3 pm (extended til 7 pm for some of my friends - xpela once a year so bagi chance la datang lambat kan...)

Me n my family were so tired, exhausted even dehydrated by that day. I even have fever, sore throat n cold (complete 1 set) after this day.

Some didn't show up (had other plans), some made it even for just a drink (thanx for ur generosity of sparing some time to come) n some made it (YAY~ thanx a lot guys)

For those who didn't get the invitation (like a friend whom i bumped into while buying my lunch today) SORRY coz I didn't have much time n maybe I mistakenly thought u guys have got it. Plz do come if I host this thing next year k =)

I've had an interesting day today. I went to meet my friends at every OH (open house) that I was invited to. It's not important who did n who didn't, it's juz a matter of doing it the best u can. It doesn't matter if u were not a popular kid back then in high school or college, what's important is how u stay connected to them. Thanx to such things as Friendster / Myspace / Facebook. Well, I'm glad I made it to some of their houses (Sorry for those whom I didn't go)

To cut it short, I ended the evening with someone; a girl, an ex-schoolmate in SMK Sec 9. We never crossed path back then, so I wasn't in her friend list (if there was such a thing). We had a heart-to-heart talk tonight. She has been such a gud friend who helped me when my "emo breakdown" hits me like a smack on my face last week. Funny though, I never even imagine this gorgeous girl whose 'gedik' as some girls used to call her in school would actually becomes my close friend now. See how magical our lives can be huh.....

So, I told her almost everything; what has been bothering me lately (as u can read in the previous post). I didn't even have such a 'trust issue' with her. It's probably bcoz from the 1st time she replied, I knew it in my heart that I am talking to the right person. I poured my heart out, from A to Z. She's not only juz listening to me, it also had a few wise reasons/solutions to anything I said... n it is logical n makes a lot of sense. Surprisingly, it came from her. I don't judge a book by its cover, but from what I remember she used to be a different person. Surely people has changed.

She has been through a lot of things.. some were even similar to mine. Her parents divorced when we were 15 years old. Since then, she goes thru her life by herself; same goes to her other siblings. When she entered uni, she has decided that she wants to change herself becomes better, stronger n happier than before. There, in front of me was proven a complete different person... now that she juz graduated/found out about her dad's sickness. She told me; I have to take action, be someone to start make things right. Also be someone to tell my parents that whatever decisions that they are going to make, we will be ok and accept it for what it is. We should let them know that we are not their little kids anymore. They are humans too, they wanted to be happy juz like everyone else. Some more, I need to be there for my siblings; someone they can rely on if anything happens to my parents. I'm jealous to know that she n her siblings are really close. It makes me realize mine doesn't have an open relationship, n it has been that way since my parents started making this problem. Yeah sure sometimes u do get annoyed by a 12 year old kiddo but I should let him know that I'll be there to help him if he ever encounter any problems. At times, we care less about them n more about our own lifes.

Then, she told me to be a little bit selfish, not to anyone but myself. I do admit I often think about others 1st then only me. But it supposed to be the other way round. I should focus more on what I want for my life rather than what others would think of what I'm going to do or something like that. I need to start a list of what I don't have n what I would like to have/achieve (this was about my job scope n all). For example; she wants to be somebody that people will love n respect, so she would focus more on her studies n study hard to get it. I need to stop pleasing others by doing what they have asked/wanted n start thinking about what I want to achieve in my life. She also make sure of her siblings to do the same, study hard n do what they should be doing. There's never too late to start, rite? If she can survive her study fees n hardcores exams, why can't I? She reminded me again n again that Allah Maha Adil. He will give us pain in our left hands but also give guidance on our right hands. Its juz that we need to find n fight for it bcoz it wont come "gedebuk" right in front of us. There's no more tears to cry, coz it wont help her at all. Its true. I honestly believe that. We have to always believe that He will guide us somehow. This will make me think twice, again to see that it comes from her. Her inner strength comes from all the hardships in life she's facing, n its really 'glowing'. I truly admire that. I am hoping someday I'll have that in me. Now all I have to do is find it within me n restructure my life the way I want it n He approves it, the way it should be. Always remember to remind myself that He will guide us thru anything...

About guys, she juz said 1 simple solution; I have to have a stronger character ("garang") towards them. I have to be independent instead of too clingy to them. I sometimes surrender my heart to a guy too fast. Too sensitive over silly things / gossip has to be get rid of. Most importantly, there are a lot of other things that I have to worry more than them. I'm jealous (also) to know that her relationship is based on mutual agreement + mature manner compared to mine (any of it for the matter). I honestly haven't found that 1 yet. But "jodoh" will come when the time is right, rite? I should juz seek for guidance from Him n someday it will come along. I shouldn't worry at all about things that happened in the past (be it my ex-bf or any guy at all). The next time some guy bothers me, I'm juz gonna say that what's done is done n there is no need to do an explaination for anything. Nvm, not in my mind at this moment.

A guy 'friend' is easy, way easy to deal with. They don't hold any grudges in their hearts about anything. When there is something wrong, they will say it right to your face. I so agree to this statement. Girl 'friend' sometimes can be a problem. But I don't regret knowing any 1 of them, especially her. She can be such a perfect counselor; precise words bit by bit. Honest n full of empowerment; it actually helps me figure things out. I felt so blessed to have such a friend like her.
Now I can actually talk to anyone that I never know, new friends n old schoolmates... eventhough we are not from the same clique back then or now.. with the new me. It felt really gud to reach out to some of them whom I never imagine I would have talk to in the 1st place. Its bcoz it doesn't matter where I came from or whom I've been, it juz matters what my efforts are.

Last words that I remember,
"we only live once, so there's nothing wrong in getting what's best for it.. achieving our dreams"

From what I know,
I will always remember Allah The Allmighty
I need friends like her in my life..
I now know how to make me stronger..
I also have to stop hiding n live my own life

I'll always try to remember this lovely n meaningful day... n what we discussed would be my guidance (InsyaAllah).. til I'm out of this world... Amin~

Raya 2008

I've had a lil bit of everything for this year's raya..
1st cums da fun part, happy n cheering for our balikg kampung moments to Malacca n Pahang..
Then, its sad to leave my relatives behind (well, u only see them once a year rite)
After that, i'm feeling frustrated bcoz of my parents arguing, even about a simple thing.
Also, i'm feeling confused whether we r gonna do an open house this year. I shud/shudn't invite my friends now (due to their recent arguement).
Now, i'm not so sure myself.
Luckily, i got a few invitations to go. I hope its gonna cheer me up n make this raya a memorable 1~

I am going to enter a competition this weekend. It is a 'Sand Castle Competition'. It is organized by Holiday Villa Hotel n its gonna be held in Cherating.
I am still clueless of what to do, what to bring, what to wear, even what is our group name...

Yesterday for the 1st time, I became THE HULK (or at least strong like him).
Me n my housemates carried a washing machine all by ourselves. Trust me, its really heavy.
We brought it down from 4th Floor. Then we went to another staircase n climbed to the 3rd Floor (our new apartment) to complete the job. Fuhhh~
[who says woman can't do what man do is totally wrong! haha]
We bathed 3 times per day - Saturday + Sunday.
On Saturday, we cleaned the whole house. It was not that difficult compared to bringing the washing machine. Imagine how heavy the TV is... Over all, its 50% done. I'll keep u posted with the rest..

26th Anniversary Celebration

We had dinner at KL Tower on Saturday July 26, 2008.
All of us were there. A complete set.
The food were delicious. Our parents got a free cake + free dedication + free song.
The view was simply breathtaking.
We slept at Boulevard Hotel near Midvalley later that nite.

On Sunday, we watched 3D of Journey to the Center of the Earth movie at 10.40 am.
It was worth paying 17 buckeroos per person. Everything looked so imaginative n beautiful (I almost 4got we watched it in the morning)
After that, jalan-jalan a 'lil bit of Midvalley Megamall. We tried the fish massage. Wicked~
We had lunch at Cozy Corner in Ampang Park.
Then we went to Pavilion. My dad bought my b'day present. (which came to a surprise 4 me, da tua pon dapat hadiah lagi lalalalala~)

Over all, it was a tiring but memorable weekend....

Urbanscapes 2008

I was there with my 2 friends.
I watched the performances. Damn it was great. Totally rocks! I really love live rock music.
I was abit deaf afterwards (standing besides a HUGE speaker) but I don't complain coz its an awesome show.
I went ga-ga over the singers, guitarists (especially the cute ones) n drummers coz they were loud n strong n talented when they performed.
I bought 1 shirt for my sister.
I heard new tunes - Yuna, KokoKaina, Estrella.
I learnt more about art & indie music.
I heard a new type of music made by this 1 band using things (I only saw some1 holding 2 dustbin covers n use it as an instrument) which actually sounds good.
I didn't get to see Estranged but Hanafi (the guitarist) was playing for another band. He looked so hot ;)
I (n my friends) got lost for an hour trying to find KLPac which is at Sentul Park. Finally found it at 5 pm. Thanx to the map & my friend.
I enjoyed every second of it (but not the 'parachutist').
I survived with just 1 cupcake, 2 bottles of mineral water n 1 stick of fried wantan.
I witnessed Flashmob in KL (searching for Adrian).
I want to say a million thanx for my 2 friends who help me making this trip happen.

I went to watch P Ramlee The Musical theatre (again) last Sunday. It was held for another extra day especially for Celcom. So we went there to see it - me, Syieda (my housemate), Farez & Apit. Although the show had a 'sudden' break due to technical difficulties, it ended with a bang. A real one. Thanx DAD~ (for the tickets of coz). I haven't got him a present for Father's Day (shame on me) but he gave me this instead. I'm sure gonna buy it a.s.a.p! They (the gentlemen) kept saying thanx to me (who obviously done nothing but grabbing the tickets from me dad). So 'u r most welcome' I replied. Plz stop saying thanx hehe. We ate our 'dinner' at Kg Baru. The 4 of us were so 'kebulur' we ordered 4 types of fried rice. I knew it in my heart that we were gonna have a fabulous time, not only from the theatre but each other....

I've juz experienced a complete WASTE of time. Seriously! I got back from work at 8 pm. Traffic has never been that kind... Plus, citizens of Malaysia queued up for that 'cheap' petrol that last juz b4 midnite. I reached my hometown after 1.5hours - no kidding.... Then, I queued up for that petrol also - must be influenced by my co-workers earlier.... I picked the wrong station, Petronas Section 6. I was there until 12.15 where I finally got to fill in my tank (which was too late bcoz the price has gone UP).... I payed 60 bucks n guess wut.. Its not even a full tank! Demmit~ Y la government can be so pretentious.... This is not helping, its a BURDEN to us. I really wanna curse but its not polite... so I juz leave it there..

Now I'm tired, sleepy, full of headaches.. n my teeth hurts. Hopefully its not that 'tooth' again..

I had a rough n tough week. It so happens that I'm having my P.M.S this week. Yeah, talk about perfect timing huh~ Everything happens so sudden, I start to feel like I'm numb. Then I realized its already Friday n the weekend starts again. That is how the routine goes these few weeks actually.. Pressured by work again n again... n other stuff too. At some point I had a major breakdown coz I couldn't handle it. But HE made me strong. I can deal with it.
I stayed at Nasah's house til Saturday morning bcoz she wanted some company while her parents gone on a trip to China. We had so much fun. We even cooked dinner 1 day (can't remember when thou).

Saturday:

After work, I went to my rent house in KL to change. I wore a baju kurung for a wedding in Ampang. I totally didn't remember the route so I completely followed the map in the card. I managed to reach there - Kampung Melayu Ampang (where I grew up). I met the bride (bcoz she's my skoolmate in Standard 3,4&5 n she's the only 1 that I can remember). I haven't seen her since I moved back to Shah Alam. Talk about a long lost friend huh... She even sang Acha's song for her hubby - so sweet~
Then, I reached Shah Alam at 6 pm. Went to see a friend for a quick check up of my car bcoz it was giving me problems lately (It stopped in the middle of the road when the traffic light turns green. How embarassing! N reverse itself at the parking lot - twice. Kill me now!). After that we went to Sec 3 bcoz his friend was hungry (his car got problems too).
At about 9 pm the 'meeting' ended. Then I went to see another friend - this was unplanned (who happens to be at his house doing nothing). We went to McD bcoz he was hungry (Y am I not hungry like them?). We chatted til 11.30 pm. I was so damn tired n slept at 1 am.

Sunday:

I had my breakfast with Farez (whom I met last nite) & Apit at Sec 9. They were hilarious! They alwaz came up with all this 'pepatah Melayu' n other stupidity (jokes I mean). We even swapped sandwiches (Apit even had a 'skill' to get mine - look, stare n take, should try it next time haha). What a funny guy la dey~
I went to Istana Budaya with Nasah, Farah & Wanie to watch a theatre called P Ramlee The Musical. It started at 3 pm n ended 3 hours later... It was superb! Great! Magnificent! Brilliant! Magical~ Surprisingly, our late P Ramlee was a very lonely man (until he met Saloma) n got married 3 times (Junaidah, Norizan & Saloma). I was so amazed... A standing ovation to all of them for making it happen.. [Clapping hands]
After that, we went to Taipan for our dinner. Nasah had a nightmare when her hot chocolate contained a baby cockroach (maybe la coz we were not sure what was it). Poor her~ =p

It is indeed another meaningful weekend.............

It has been a crazy week. Super crazy!! I haven't got the time to edit a single entry. Now I've to. Or I'll 4get everything.

Last Saturday 24/5/2008 = my BFF Safura's wedding (actually its juz for engagement & akad). I was so happy n excited. I even bought a new baju kurung for it (of coz add that to my collection). Went to her house at almost 9.30 am. They got engaged at 10 am. Then stopped for a while. At almost 11.30 am she's officially his wife. How quick huh? I know.. It's a surprise to all of us. But good things happen unexpectedly rite ;)

Last nite, accompanied my BFF at her house and slept there. Today I purposely woke up early (which I didn't know Y considering it's a Sunday) bcoz my dad said that we have to go to a wedding at 10 am. But I only arrived home at 10.30 am - due to extreme laziness....

At 12.30 pm, WE - me + my dad + my bro (the 3 Stooges) started our journey to Mentakab, Pahang. The purpose is only for the wedding (and meet the relatives I think). Since my mom isn't here at the moment, I am the only available substitute laaa... After we reached there at the town area, my dad called 1 of them to ask about it. Guess WHAT??? They already moved their butts to the bride's house at 12 pm - which btw is not sumwhere near that area. If it's from our side (the groom), at least we can still make it on time. It wasn't nice to drop by the bride's house late rite? Plus, my tummy's started making noises already.

So, after he decided not to go further, we end up eating our lunch at KFC. Can u imagine? Eating KFC all the way in Pahang? Huhuhu~ It is phenomenal and unforgettable (of coz!). Poor daddy missed the wedding's cuisine and get himself only the Snack Plate. Well, it wasn't planned like this rite ;) There's also a minor misunderstanding on the info given earlier to him. [morale of the story: ask anything u could think of, or otherwise this thing will repeat itself]

We arrived home safely (and feeling funny) at 4.30 pm. My sister (Adek) laughed so hard on the phone when she called.

At dinner table juz now:

Abah: "Jangan main-main, standard nye kite makan lunch kat Mentakab tu"

HAHAHAHAHAHA. He can make jokes too =)

Today is a day for a celebration of a special person that we hold close in our hearts - Mother's Day.

I've been nothing but inspired by her courage to be there for me, taking care 5 of us gracefully without complain or whine. She teach us to be strong & independent, also how to behave n choose our own path in life... Never have I seen someone as great as my mother. I've learn so much, yet I don't think it's enough yet. She finds solution in every obstacles, every pain. Such a wonderful woman. She's a pain-in-the-butt sumtimes, but it is 4 my own good (I knew it sumhow but too stubborn to actually take it).

So today, I want to dedicate this day to her. I LOVE U mama~

P/S: Btw she's in Macca rite now performing her umrah. Its only been 3 days but I totally missed her...... pray for her safe return - Amin -

Today in history - I woke up every hour from 3 am to 6 am (each time juz to look at my watch n figured its not time yet to wake up). I'm not sure Y I'm nervous or anxious. It juz a Sport's Day. But maybe becoz I don't wanna B late. I arrived at 7.15 am ready to go but had to wait for my sis Kakcik (she's not ready yet). I didn't feel sleepy at all. Maybe excited a lil' bit haha =p

So we went to Uitm Stadium together at almost 8 am. My brother was the lead for perbarisan.
